So let me tell you about the shittiest parent on the motherfucking planet.

I work at a grocery store and this man comes in with his 11 year old son. He buys a pack a cigarettes and a two cases of beer. The son was holding a two dollar drawing pad and placed it on the belt and I guess the dad didn’t notice it at first but when I was about to scan the pad he asked where’d it have come from and turned towards the kid and asked “Did you put that shit up there?”. He told me to put it back and then told his 11 year old child that he “ain’t paying for that gay ass notebook.”.  So I looked at the kid, who was close to tears and saying how he ran out of paper at home and my heart broke. So I gave the pad to him, for free, and told the dad I would take care of it. I gave the kid some tokens for a game outside and said I would look forward to buying some of his drawings and paintings when he’s all famous. He kids face was so priceless and I thought everything was good. But then, about 10 ten minutes after giving the kid his notebook, I walked outside and saw this. The drawing pad all ripped up and tossed on the pavement. I could only imagine what happened in the parking lot, but I know that that poor kid heart is fucking ripped apart, just like this pad.

I’m fucking horrified that there are parents like this, who, just because it’s not masculine or gender specificthey won’t let their children follow their true passions or explore interests that lead to their happiness. Even more so, I’m horrified that parents don’t care about the fine arts anymore because it doesn’t have job security. Since when did it ever matter to a child if their passion makes them money or not? Parenting is about supporting whatever makes your child happy. Have some fucking consideration for your child’s wants not your homophobic and anti-art ideals.

Passionate people are hard to find these days. It’s really sad that such things happen. By any means, you don’t act that way towards your child. At least that kid wants something valuable instead of buying some dumb cigarettes and beer.

This is really not okay.
I think some people fail to realize that men can be sexually assaulted, too, and not just by other men. This girl shoves him against the wall and slaps him thee fucking times when he pushes her away. Heck, he has to push her away twice before she backs off for a moment. Then she goes right back to kissing him.
Gabbity is right—if the genders were reversed, everyone on this site would be flipping a shit. And if anyone dares to tell me that it’s different when a girl does it to a guy, I will personally write you a three-page essay on why it is still not okay.

I think everyone needs to see this. Without a doubt, it’s an issue in both genders, and it’s unfortunate that some people don’t realize that.
As a victim, I really feel for this kid, I hope he was able to get help from an authority. No one deserves to be sexually assaulted, and no one deserves to be hit for their right to say no.

this is really disgusting and i hope he gets help.

this terrifies me to the point where i feel physically ill.

Sexual assault and harassment are not limited by gender, but I think a lot of people forget that.

Misandry is NOT a myth.

Your skin colour, gender, etc. doesn’t prevent you from being a victim, neither does it prevent you from being a violator. Whether you are female or male, sexual violence is WRONG.

I really don’t like social justice blogs

asheface:

Sometimes, they have good points, but a lot of the time, they just…. frustrate me.

Yes, people with a heavier body type get bullied more than people that are thinner, but that doesn’t mean thin people don’t get bullied about their weight. I, for example, have been accused of being anorexic, and I’ve been told that I need to stuff my face.

Yes, veganism/vegetarianism has their strong points, and can actually be very healthy, but not everyone can afford or live on that kind of diet healthily. Some of us HAVE to eat meat.

Yes, women are still oppressed to this day, but we are not better than men by default. Each gender has their own shitheads, and their own idols.

Yes, the LGBT community deserves their rights, but you’re going about it all the wrong way. Saying that everyone that’s straight is a privileged asshole isn’t going to get you any allies in the government.

Yes, religion is seems pretty good to some people, but not everyone has to agree with you. Let people have their own opinions about the after life, we’re not going to know for sure anyway until we’re dead.

Please, just think these things through…..

I approve this blog.

We are telling women “don’t get raped” instead of telling men “don’t rape”, that’s the problem !We are also telling women “don’t get murdered or robbed” instead to telling criminals “don’t kill or steal”
why isn’t there someone to explain to bad people that doing bad things is BAD ??????
I should have the right to walk in the street with $2000 in cash in my hand without being robbed (ノ ̄д ̄)ノ
Seriously, I can understand that this message is against the shaming of rape victims, “it’s your fault because you were dressed like a slut” is really not something appropriate to say to victim, I hope well agree on that. But saying that CRIMINALS should understand that RAPE is a bad thing, is just insane.
You don’t rape on a “misunderstanding”, you rape because you’re a abject human being.

The majority of those pictures are just bottle-downed to “Use your common sense”. You can’t expect people abiding to the law. Of course, you should expect it, but you should also be aware that not all people will abide it, you know. I think we should teach both men and women handle these situations. Don’t let somebody put wacky stuff in your drink, but dressing provocatively, yeah… I dunno. I don’t blame people in wacky costumes or transvestites for getting beaten up, for example. I really have a problem with these kind of thoughts. I mean, when does it border on victim-blaiming and not?

I think it’s about the before / after, saying “you were raped because you were dressed like a slut” is horrible, it’s saying that it’s her fault !
But saying “you will be raped because you’re dressed like a slut” only SOUNDS wrong…sure you shouldn’t tell a woman how to dress but…still…
What if I wear expansive looking clothes with gold/silver jewelry ? I can only expect to attract the attention of criminals…
Feminist talking about rape are just women complaining that the world is dangerous and unfair, and complain on men about it ! it’s stupid !

The term ‘slut’ is still very vague imo because a lot of people have a different idea what ‘being dressed like a slut is’. Just showing a bit off non-facial skin is ‘slutiness’ in the eyes of many for example. Okay, I can understand you, but I don’t hold you responsible if you get mugged. Sure, for possible outcomes, you could dress a bit less chique and all, but how society and people go on about it.. it borders a lot in the victim-blaiming and/or paranoia territory. Even if you say to someone “You’ll get raped if you dress like a ‘slut’” and it actually does happen, then it’s pretty much a pointless thing to say to a person “Oh you were raped, but not because you were dressed like a slut”. And yes, the world is dangerous and unfair, but we shouldn’t be a bunch of sheepish paranoid slaves to it. I’m all for learning men and women manners that you shouldn’t judge people on their appearances and that the way how they look or act (unless they are very violent) is in no way a justification or reason to hurt them in any sort of way.

We’re crying about Mulan being paler skinned (and fitting a Chinese ideal of beauty) when we should be advocating for human rights for Chinese laborers. Politicians all over this country are openly Islamophobic, but instead of writing letters and openly criticizing their overt and blatant profiling and discrimination, we want to complain about people saying things we’re only used to hearing in rap songs, or White women wearing sheer sarees, or argue over who has more privilege/oppression points because tumblr has made oppression cool. White privilege doesn’t exist on this website and non-White, non-cis, non-male, non-heterosexual people are put onto this pedestal and made out to be gods and goddesses because OMG THEY’RE OPPRESSED. Tumblr has made oppression trendy and when we’re determined to have a reason to complain, we aren’t putting forth our energy to handle our complaints.

- theinnocenceleft (via more-equal)

It has basically become a whole game of “Who’s the most Privileged”. It’s only a bunch of childish bastards stroking their egos by playing the victim card, so that people’s arguments are “invalid”. Cut the crap.

Well, current (radical) feminism is at its very best an insult to the original feminist movement(s). At its very worst it’s like… awful, very awful.

So Adolf Hitler is basically...

  • Aura: Yeah... I wouldn't like to have Hitler as my uncle
  • Louise: yeaah he liked to pee on her
  • Aura: ... wait, WHAT!?
  • Louise: you hadn't heard? Hitler had a piss fetish
  • Aura: Oh god. So he's basically an evil white version of R. Kelly

Yeah, the PROBLEM is that how or where I can write it all down. I have the feeling it would take me 10 pages per character to get it all through -_-‘

The Halted Star: To All Writers of Everything Ever

I need to rant about this:

image

Also known as the best writing program ever! It’s a full-screen writing program!

So you open it up, and it looks like this:

image

You’re thinking, “Ok, so what? It’s a screen with a picture. Whoopdie do.” But it get’s better! It’s customizable!

See that “appearance”? Click it.

image

You can also use custom fonts that you have installed!

See that “music”? Click it.

image

If you drag your own music into the folder, like so:

image

You get this!:

image

But wait! It gets better!

See “typing sounds”? You can change those too!

Perhaps the best is - YOU CAN USE ANY PICTURE FOR THE BACKGROUND. It will automatically fade it for you!

Seriously, guys, this tool is wonderful. You can use it for:

  • Research papers
  • Novel writing
  • Play writing
  • Short stories
  • Homework assignments
  • Ranting about your friends when they piss you off
  • Writing your shopping list

It auto-saves. It exports to .rtf. Hotkeys from Word for italicize, underlining, and bold work. You can print RIGHT FROM THERE.

And the seriously best thing ever?

It fits on a flash drive. The entire thing with added music is maybe 131MBs.

The bestest thing ever.

It’s free.

Saved for later reference, I must try this *_*

omfg eeeep.

Honestly, it’s legit. It can be very useful. However, if you are already in a strong psychological motivated state, you can just do it in Microsoft Word or in OpenOffice or what other kind of program you use.
